A consistent theme in requests coming in from our specialist users centred on a requirement for a rig that could be worn as either chest rig or slung down low to the waist.  Designed to be supported by a heavy duty yoke, the NL Rig is the answer.  This solution coincidentally bears some resemblance to the well known Israeli chest rig, but contains numerous additional features in the pouch design and configuration.  The NL Rig permits an extra heavy load to be carried, and provides the opportunity to carry a massive amount of ammunition.

The NL Rig system grows in demand with Infantry and Marine foot patrol units restricted by the low carriage capacity of standard issue webbing.  The rig possesses features of many of our previous rigs and vests.  With its extra large chassis allowing additional pouches to be attached, and with pouch on pouch configurations it requires the support given by the padded yoke.  It does not suit roles where access to confined spaces is a consideration.
