The definitive static role weatherproof coat.  Two jackets in one.  Windproof microfibre lined isotherm filled inner, which is a separate jacket in its own right.  The  waterproof breathable ripstop outer is in an extra-long cut to maximise weather protection, and has a waterproof breathable ripstop outer material for rugged performance.

How does one place an operative into the field and keep them effective for long periods?

That was the design brief we received from a specialist unit that until then had not received a satisfactory product from other suppliers.  The Arktis Shooting Coat was presented as the solution.  A double coat with windproof insulated inner and waterproof/breathable outer, woollen thumb mitten cuffs, sleeve retainers for inner jacket, adjustable cuffs, pockets that clip open, double storm flap, two way zip, drop down seat flap, detachable avalanche peaked wired hood offered extensive feature and impeccable performance that at last provided our demanding customer with a resolution to his problem.  The coat is now used in many other surveillance roles, as well as in demanding sporting pursuits where rugged performance is more important that the mere need to look good.
